Thousand Oaks Alliance for the Arts is pleased to again offer live, outdoor entertainment at the Stagecoach Inn Museum this September/October!
TOArts’ After Dark at the Stagecoach Inn Museum features an eclectic and unique line up of entertainment for four Fridays beginning Sept. 29, 2023. The series was curated to present fresh and compelling artists to engage a diverse audience. Events are all outdoors and will be festival seating. This year will feature four artists who have never performed in Thousand Oaks. My Son the Hurricane, Friday, September 29, Barrio Manouche, Friday, October 6, Taylor Rae, Friday, October 13 and Angelique Francis, Friday October 20. All shows will begin at 7pm.
The multi-horn, multi-drummer, multi-singer brass funk beast, My Son the Hurricane, mix New Orleans style grooves with funk, jazz and hip hop. Featuring trumpets, saxophones, trombones, drums, guitar, percussion and two wild front-people, the band dares you not to dance!
Barrio Manouche performs a repertoire of original compositions combining jazz, flamenco and Latin American rhythms to produce a tremendous live experience that will have you on your feet.
Hailing from Santa Cruz, California, now residing in Austin, Texas, singer-songwriter Taylor Rae brings an eclectic style of music containing segments of blues and jazz as well as country and rock and roll.
Closing the series is Juno award-winner for best new blues album, Angelique Francis. This multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter has wowed audiences across the globe with her eclectic mix of musical genres including blues, jazz, soul and gospel.
All shows are outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Shows may be bought as a series for $98 or they are sold separately for $35. Space is very limited. Ticket is good for entry, bring your own chairs and blankets for seating.
