CAN I TRAVEL TO CONEJO VALLEY?

  • Our hotels are open and ready to welcome you! Ventura County and Los Angeles County public health officials declared leisure travel can resume June 12 countywide.
  • There are currently no restrictions on travel to Conejo Valley from within the United States, and the closest airports, including Los Angeles International Airport and Hollywood Burbank Airport, remain open with flights operating.
  • Safety measures — physical distancing and enhanced sanitation practices — remain a priority for responsible travel that respects local Conejo Valley communities and fellow travelers.

WHICH HOTELS IN CONEJO VALLEY ARE OPEN?

  • All 14 lodging properties associated with Visit Conejo Valley are open and are accepting leisure and non-essential travel reservations.
  • Each property is taking extra precautions to ensure your safety and the safety of their staff is a top priority.

  • Visit Conejo Valley is committed to the highest safety standards to protect the health and welfare of employees, guests, and our community while providing world-class hospitality.
  • Hotels and local businesses adhere to requirements of public health officers and promote social distancing, indoor mask use, limited occupancies, and other health protocols.
  • We encourage you to contact hotels and businesses directly to learn more about their specific protocols.

  • Face coverings are required in indoor public spaces.
  • Public health officials emphasize that social distancing is the most important strategy to lessen the spread.
  • It is important to make and/or confirm reservations directly, as individual businesses will open on their own timeline and/or limit occupancy to maintain social distance.

WHAT BUSINESSES ARE OPEN IN CONEJO VALLEY?

  • The Ventura County and Los Angeles County public health officials allow reopening of the following businesses associated with travel:
    • Hotels for tourism and individual travel,
    • Dine-in restaurants (other amenities, like bars or gaming areas, are not currently not permitted),
    • Museums and galleries,
    • Retail stores, including shopping malls and swap meets.
    • Outdoor recreation.
  • Bars and wineries in Ventura County are open.
  • It is important to make and/or confirm reservations directly, as individual businesses will open on their own timeline.

WHAT OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES ARE OPEN?

  • Trails, trailhead parks and golf courses in Los Angeles County are open, as long as activities adhere to distancing and cleaning and infection control protocol, including the wearing of face coverings.
  • LA County beaches are open. Restrictions apply.
  • Trails, trailheads, restrooms, pullouts and overlooks in Ventura County that are a part of the Santa Monica Mountains are open.
    • Visitor centers at King Gillette Ranch and Satwiwa remain closed.
    • Wildwood Regional Park is closed.
    • Visitors must observe six feet of social distancing at all times.
  • Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency (COSCA) trails are open. Restrictions apply.
  • Conejo Recreation and Park District parks and courts are open. Restrictions apply.
  • The Conejo Valley Botanic Garden is open sunrise to sunset for persons who wear face coverings and comply with social distancing requirements. The garden will be closed July 4 and when trails are muddy.
  • City of Agoura Hills/Thousand Oaks park restrooms and playgrounds are closed until further notice. City owned park open spaces and walkways remain open.
  • Gardens of the World is closed until further notice.
