Local meals at a deal: Restaurant Week is back

Foodies, this is important: Are you hungry for something new and different?

Perk up your palate by exploring new dining destinations during Visit Conejo Valley’s third annual Conejo Valley Restaurant Week from Feb. 18 to 27.

With local flavors, craft brews and an inspired wine scene, Conejo Valley offers a little bit of everything for dine-out enthusiasts.

“We are excited to host another Restaurant Week to encourage locals to celebrate and support our local culinary community,” said Danielle Borja, president/CEO of Visit Conejo Valley. “This is the perfect time for residents and visitors to take a tour throughout the diverse and thriving food culture of Conejo Valley.”

Here are some of the restaurants taking part and a look at the exclusive deals they’re offering to Restaurant Week diners.

Cisco’s Mexican Restaurant: Get a free dessert (flan, deep-fried ice cream or churros) with the purchase of any lunch or dinner entree.

Chocolatine Frence Cafe: Receive a free drink with any purchase of $5 or more.

Tavern Tomoko and Ladyface Brewery: Order the Japanese fried chicken with Sriracha sauce or the pretzel bites with beer cheese sauce for $8.

Honey Cup Coffeehouse and Creamery: Get a free cup of coffee or iced coffee with any purchase.

Lucky’s Dog House: Get 10% off your entire meal.

Mouthful Eatery: Get a twocourse meal for $25, including shrimp bisque or salad and chicken breast stuffed with Gouda, spinach and pistachios.

Tarantula Hill Brewing Company: Get a beer-battered Buffalo cauliflower appetizer with Dijonnaise sauce for $9.

Paul Martin’s American Grill: Order a three-course meal for $45. Entree choices include skillet-seared “Brick” chicken, Alaskan halibut or southern-fried New York strip steak with mashed potatoes and garlic green beans.
