Commemorate Presidents’ Day at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

These were some of the most important values to President Ronald Reagan, the 40^th president of the United States, and they are ideals to remember on Presidents’ Day this year.

If you find yourself in Conejo Valley over the long weekend, a visit to the spectacular Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley is a wonderful way to commemorate the federal holiday. (And yes, the library will be open!)

This expansive library and museum honors Reagan’s life and legacy with 125,000 square feet of exhibits and galleries. In addition to the awe-inspiring exhibits, the grounds of the library are a beautiful place to walk and reflect.

Annual Presidents’ Day Celebration

The annual Presidents’ Day Celebration will take place February 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy special festivities, music, All-American food and much more during this welcoming event.

Must-see Exhibits

• Air Force One – Visitors may step aboard the same Air Force One that Reagan used during his time as president.

• Berlin Wall – In memory of the miraculous day that Reagan called for the tear-down of the Berlin Wall, the museum has a piece of the wall on display.

• The Memorial Site – The library is also where President Reagan is laid to rest alongside his wife, Nancy Reagan. A Memorial was built in his honor, and is a special place to pay your respects for the 40th president.

• Oval Office – Imagine yourself in the halls of the White House and step into the replica of Reagan’s Oval Office, decorated as it was during his time as president.
