All Dash proceeds will be shared equally among these groups focused on helping our youth:
Southeast Ventura County YMCA, Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Foundation, & Conejo Valley Boy Scout Troops 753, 761, & 765
The Turkey Day Dash, a Thousand Oaks tradition since 2004, is back by popular demand following a three-year hiatus. A draw for both competitive athletes and families, the Thanksgiving morning run is back with a new host (Five07), new event (Zack Zernik Mile) and new causes. 100% of proceeds will be divided among three local nonprofits: Conejo Valley Boy Scouts, the Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Foundation and the Southeast Ventura County YMCA, the event's founder and longtime host. The event will pay special tribute to Zack Zernik, a lifelong "Dasher" who died tragically in January while climbing in open space outside Newbury Park.
