Welcome the holiday season with Glory in the Highest, Cal Lutheran’s cherished Christmas celebration. The university’s choral ensembles and String Symphony join forces for a festive evening of music, featuring luminous works by Peter Anglea, Eric Whitacre, and others, along with beloved carols such as Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming and Sing We Now of Christmas. The program will include organ selections and opportunities for the audience to sing along with favorite hymns of the season.
Under the direction of Franco Basili, DMA, assistant professor of music and choir director, the Cal Lutheran choirs continue the university’s longstanding legacy of inspiring Christmas performances. As always, the concert promises a joyful blend of tradition and discovery — a musical gift to lift your spirit and warm your heart.
This is always a popular concert, so please arrive early for convenient parking. Doors open one hour before the concert.
