The Bachelor Guide to Conejo Valley

Posted on February 22, 2019 by Conejo Valley

America’s ultimate guilty pleasure, The Bachelor, is on once again. But did you know that the most-watched journey of finding love actually starts in Conejo Valley?

The area has been the backdrop for many episodes of the show, and you can check some of the filming locations out while you’re here!

The Mansion

Hello beautiful #thebachelorette

The iconic Villa de La Vina where the contestants make their first impressions is tucked away in Agoura Hills. It doesn’t just house the show’s drama, but an actual local family. This family of six has to move out twice a year for 42 days while the ABC crew remodels the rooms and shoots the first half of the season here.

Since the Bachelor/Bachelorette mansion is a private property, we don’t encourage you to drive by. Instead, head to another prominent house in Conejo Valley – Reyes Adobe Historical Site, the first built home in Agoura Hills. Take a guided tour and continue your journey at Giessinger Winery or Alma Sol Winery nearby where you can bid on contestants over a glass of local wine.

Saddlerock Ranch and Vineyards

Remember the famous one-on-one of Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff on season 19? The couple was sharing a romantic day wine tasting when they stumbled upon a wedding and jumped to crash it. That wedding was in Conejo Valley’s Saddlerock Ranch and Vineyards. The vineyard is home to Malibu Wine Safaris, which might be even more exciting than crashing a wedding when you go on their giraffe tour.

Zuma Beach

If you followed Sean Lowe’s season, you might remember the fun group date where the bachelorettes fought for Sean’s heart in the game of beach volleyball. The battlefield was our own Zuma Beach. If we had to plan a date, we wouldn’t look pass Zuma Beach either – its wide sand beaches and excellent surf make for a perfect time together.

14 Cannons Brewery & Showroom

After a busy day exploring The Bachelor side of Conejo Valley, finish it with the best of local brews at 14 Cannons Brewery & Showroom. Coincidentally, this brewery also happens to be built by the mansion’s owner! Even if you don’t get the rose that night, you can at least catch one of their unique beer and cupcake events.

Take a moment to say your goodbyes to your to-do list and plan your vacation to Conejo Valley today!
