Cafe Society: Restaurant week deals come to Conejo Valley, other regions await new dates

Posted on June 16, 2020 by Conejo Valley

January is California Restaurant Month, an idea launched by the California Travel and Tourism Commission in 2010 as a way to lure people into dining rooms during the typically slow weeks between New Year’s Eve and Valentine’s Day.

The promotion has restaurants from one end of the state to the other touting special pricing and/or region-specific menus, like the crab feast planned in Mendocino County.

Enter Conejo Valley Restaurant Week, which from Jan. 24-31 will offer variations on both ideas.

Organized by Visit Conejo Valley, the official tourism marketing organization for the cities of Thousand Oaks and Agoura Hills, the event will feature discounts and trademark dishes at more than a dozen cafes and restaurants – and at least one winery.
