Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival Comes to Conejo Valley

Posted on July 1, 2017 by Conejo Valley

Friends, Romans and countrymen of Conejo Valley, lend me your ears! This summer marks the 21st annual Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival in Conejo Valley. The festival will take place at Kingsmen Park on the Thousand Oaks campus of California Lutheran University.

Produced by Cal Lutheran’s professional theater company, the Kingsmen Shakespeare Company, the festival will hold two productions of William Shakespeare’s plays including “Love’s Labour’s Lost” taking place on June 30, July 1-2, July 7-9 and July 14-16, and “Julius Caesar” on July 21-23, July 28-30 and August 4-6.

Bring a low-profile lawn chair and a blanket and watch one or both of the productions this summer in Conejo Valley. While advance ticket sales are not available, we do have an opportunity for you to win a set of four tickets to the festival. Be sure to check out our Facebook page for details on how you can win a pack of four tickets to Conejo Valley’s own Shakespeare event!

The festival grounds open at 5:30 p.m. for picnicking and entertainment. General admission is $20 for adults and free for those under 18. Individual tickets are available at the door only. For lawn box reservations or more information, visit kingsmenshakespeare.org or call 805-493-3452.
