On Sunday, July 23, the Pat Benatar Experience will take the crowd back to the 1980’s with classic hits like “Love Is A Battlefield,” “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” “We Belong,” and “Heartbreaker.” The swagger, the haircut, the look, and the sound are as close to the Grammy-winning rockstar as it gets. The July 23 concert is sponsored by Athens Services and the Roadie Food Truck, Connie’s Hot Dogs, and Kona Ice will be on-site.
The Summer Concerts in the Park Series is held from 5:00-7:00pm at CRPD’s Conejo Community Park (aka Dover & Hendrix), located at 1175 Hendrix Avenue in Thousand Oaks. Friends and families are invited to bring picnics and blankets or folding chairs for lawn seating in Conejo Community Park’s beautiful natural amphitheater. Depending on the forecast, jackets or sweaters are recommended since the weather may cool during the latter part of the event. Outside food and beverage is permitted. Limited on-site parking is reserved for cars displaying disabled person placards until the lot is full. Off-site parking is available for all others. Concertgoers are asked to leave pets at home.
