Thousand Oaks Summer Concerts in the Park: Midnight Rider Band

September 04, 2023 View Website

Closing out the series on Labor Day, Monday September 4, is the Midnight Rider Band, a 7-piece, southern rock inspired group and California’s premier Allman Brothers tribute band.  Playing all the major hits including “Midnight Rider,” “Ramblin Man,” “Jessica,” and more, this band knows how to put on an entertaining show that keeps crowds coming back for more. The Labor Day show is sponsored by the Thousand Oaks Acorn and will kick off with another live vocal performance of the National Anthem by Marissa Margolis. Cousins Maine Lobster truck, Hot Diggity Dog, and Mister Softee will be on site.

The Summer Concerts in the Park Series is held from 5:00-7:00pm at CRPD’s Conejo Community Park (aka Dover & Hendrix), located at 1175 Hendrix Avenue in Thousand Oaks. Friends and families are invited to bring picnics and blankets or folding chairs for lawn seating in Conejo Community Park’s beautiful natural amphitheater. Depending on the forecast, jackets or sweaters are recommended since the weather may cool during the latter part of the event. Outside food and beverage is permitted. Limited on-site parking is reserved for cars displaying disabled person placards until the lot is full. Off-site parking is available for all others. Concertgoers are asked to leave pets at home.
