Kaze
Located in Thousand Oaks, Kaze is a sophisticated Japanese dining concept led by Chef-Owner Sean, whose background includes serving as Chef de Cuisine at the Michelin-recognized Sushi by Scratch. The restaurant focuses on a meticulously crafted 19-course omakase menu that emphasizes the natural evolution of seasonal ingredients through a blend of refined nigiri and contemporary warm dishes.
The dining environment is intentionally small and focused, featuring a 12-seat chef’s counter that allows for a direct, engaging connection between the culinary team and the guests. To maintain this high level of service, Kaze hosts two dedicated seatings per evening. From Wednesday through Saturday, dinner is served at 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM, while Sunday seatings are held earlier at 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM.
Because of the limited seating, reservations are required and managed through Tock. Beyond the tasting menu, guests can further customize their evening with curated sake and wine pairings designed to complement the specific flavors of the season. For those seeking a more exclusive setting, the restaurant also accommodates inquiries for private events.
