Visit Conejo Valley, the tourism marketing organization for the cities of Thousand Oaks and Agoura Hills, recently donated a check for $4,250 to the Manna Conejo Valley Food Bank on Nov. 22.

The funds were used to help feed families in need for Thanksgiving.

The food bank, founded in 1971, has been helping feed families in the Conejo Valley for more than 40 years.

While the Manna is currently housed in a 700-square-foot facility in Thousand Oaks, the organization has plans to move into a larger facility of 7,700 square feet at a former church in the area.

Manna serves more than 1,400 people per month on average and is able to help over 20,000 people per year through holiday distribution programs.
