Malibu Bike Tours near Conejo Valley has rolled out a new biking experience among the 1,000-acre Saddlerock Ranch that includes stunning views of the Santa Monica Mountains and ends with a wine tasting of four local wines. As you follow a two-mile course at a leisurely pace on electric bikes, you also get to stop at picturesque points along the way and enjoy refreshments provided throughout the ride.
Rancho Portero Community Equestrian Center, adjacent to the Santa Monica Mountains and the Satwiwa Native American Indian Culture Center, re-introduced horseback trail riding lessons. Guided hourly trail rides are available for members of the same household, ages 7 and up.
Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum is anticipating to welcome a new breathtaking exhibit – ‘FBI: From Al Capone to Al Qaeda’ on Feb. 6, 2021. The 10,500 square foot exhibit will showcase the FBI – from its origins to top cases, processes of becoming an FBI agent and how the FBI is portrayed in Hollywood movies and television shows. The exhibition will also include a memorial to FBI agents who lost their lives in the line of duty. Artifacts on display will include Bonnie and Clyde’s bullet-ridden car, Donnie Brasco’s undercover documents, trial evidence from famous cases, as well as the raft and paddle used in the Alcatraz escape, among other items. You’ll have a chance to catch the exhibit on display until August 2021.
California Museum of Art Thousand Oaks is also welcoming new exhibitions starting January 2021. ‘Defining Beauty’ will be the museum’s third international juried art exhibition that will feature established and emerging contemporary artists. The pieces will include conflicting objects to create a sense of intentional vagueness. ‘Car Culture’ will be the debut museum exhibition of visual artist Jonathan Michael Castillo, whose photographic series of drivers in Los Angeles move between the familiar and the surreal. Both exhibits will be on display through Spring 2021.
