Our Favorite Local Coffee Spots

Posted on November 18, 2016 by Conejo Valley

Sometimes we need a good cup of joe to get us out of bed, other times we just want the delicious taste to make us smile. Either way, we’re glad Conejo Valley has plenty of latte options to cure our cravings. It doesn’t matter if we are looking for a flat white, PSL, breve, mocha or cappuccino, these spots have got us covered (without needing to hunt down a mermaid cup).

Beanscene Espresso
Beanscene Espresso not only serves up an awesome menu of caffeine goodness, but they are also committed to creating a warm and welcoming environment for anyone who stops in. The baristas here are the bomb and will accommodate whatever half-calf, quad-shot, extra syrup creation you have in mind.

Ragamuffin Roasters
Ragamuffin is dedicated to producing handcrafted, artisan coffee at only the highest quality. They roast in small batches and methodically hand brew taking care in each step to provide you with the best result possible. This spot pours their hearts into every cup (not literally), so you know you’ll get the very best every time.

Bean Crazy Coffee
Bean Crazy is all about keeping it local and making sure the quality is top notch. They have over 25 specialty roasts ranging from dark to light, all blended and roasted to perfection. They have been roasting beans in Conejo Valley for 20 years, so we consider these guys to be family.

Carrara Pastries
If you want to feel like you’ve just traveled to Italy for a cappuccino and some indulgent treats, Carrara Pastries is the place for you. Brothers and co-owners Damiano and Massimiliano Carrara – natives of Lucca, Tuscany in Italy – know just how much an Italian dessert can warm the soul. This is one place we have to visit regularly or the withdrawals start setting in.

Tifa Chocolate & Gelato
At Tifa Chocolate & Gelato, you can have your coffee and drink it too. In addition to delicious lattes, you can grab a sweet cup of gelato to balance out your treat. They also have a collection of classic board games to play with friends while you are winding down with a cup.

If you’ve already had your coffee fix and are in search of something a little stronger, we’ve got a list of the best places to grab a beer and watch the game or have a girl’s night over a glass of red. From local wine varieties to special brews, Conejo Valley has something for beer enthusiasts and wine connoisseurs alike.
